First date phonepost

Had a first date lunch with a Georgia Tech ME undergrad this afternoon. Wore stilettos and got stuck in the rain. Got to ride the Tech Trolley for the first time! He was adorable but we went Dutch. I think I might be an ageist, though.

And we’re back.

Tonight I’m meeting a guy up at my usual bar to get to know each other. I met him there on Tuesday night, but happened to be there with someone else. I’d left my phone with the other dude, so I gave my number to the hot guy- and promptly forgot his name. I correctly remembered his last name, but I’ve been unsuccessful in tricking him into giving his first. This should be fun.

I also started online dating again. I’m doing OKCupid. I’ve had a few okay dates and a couple of flops. I have a few more coming up. I’m optimistic, though I might have made a noob mistake in inviting my current favorite to attend a company-sponsored event with me as a first date. It’s an outing to Six Flags, but neverthless could go horribly awry.
